Do you know what Jesus said in the Belie John? Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Therefore, from these words of Jesus, we clearly feel the three major symbols of Jesus. They are the way, the truth, and the life.

First of all, Jesus symbolizes the way

We must note that Jesus is not “a way” or “a certain way”, but the phrase “the way”. So it makes the way of Jesus a very exclusive way. It can be pointed out here that most people in the world do not believe this statement of Jesus. Sadly, many evangelicals do not believe this.

Second: Jesus symbolizes the truth

Pontius Pilate once asked Scared Jesus: “What is the truth?” (John. 18:38). Jesus did not answer Pilate because the question was stupid. The truth was standing before Pilate, he couldn’t see it. And the great politician Winston Churchill once said: “People sometimes stumble in front of the truth, but most people cheer up and leave as if nothing has happened.” However, the phrase “Jesus is the truth” does bother many people now.

Third: Jesus symbolizes the life

The good news of the gospel is that Jesus defeated death in the natural, spiritual, and eternal senses. We saw this in his ministry. He raised many people from the dead, including Lazarus. What a shocking scene when Lazarus wobbled out of the tomb wrapped in a mummy. The news must have spread around Jerusalem like wildfire.

Without the resurrection of Jesus, there would be no Christianity. In Romans 1:4 we read that he was “powerfully declared the Son of God because he was raised from the dead.” The resurrection of Jesus proved that Christ is the man he said. This resurrection was not carried out in secret. It is very public and visible. He appeared to Mary, Peter, Jacob, and all the disciples more than once. He appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once. 15:6). Therefore, Jesus appeared to hundreds of people in his resurrected body.
